I don't have friends to turn to when I feel terrible or whatever.
Just stuck with myselfI have friends but I feel lonely because they are all married to children and we have a successful life, I feel lonely and have family but they do not understand my pain.

I've had a lot of friends in my life most of them in some way or another let me down and that has been a massive contribution to how I feel now. So I'm down to my last few. Which I'm grateful for. The love of my life has a girlfriend and Just expects me to be abit on the side until he's ready to leave which is no time soon. All my ex's are engaged or married so I'm guessing I was the problem. I can't wait for this to all be over.

I found out my wife is cheating on me. it's really my own fault cuz i suck so bad. i vever want to do anytihng cuz my depression and anxiety. she has been patient with me i lost my job cuz i got shit for brains. thats another story. so cuz of a dumbass decision i lost my job and got us in debt where we cant even pay rent. this dude shes seein is a hell of a lot better than me in every way better looking good job and is willin to go out with her. god i hate myself. i should just kill myself and let her be happy without me. i have a buddy that totally understnad and stands by me since i made the decision to kill myself. even myu friend think i shold die.

I've been friendless since high school ended, and girlfriendless since the day i was born. What makes it all worse is that it's super difficult to make new friends when you have no friends to begin with. People see you and they just know something is seriously wrong with you to have no friends. Even self confessed "loners" tend to avoid other loners in real life.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm young but I can't say I've been able to hold a relationship for longer than a month or two. It's not so much that I'm unloyal or anything. I would never cheat on someone. I'm just a lot to deal with and I can't say I'm exactly every girl's ideal male lol. I'm pretty femboyish.

While I technically have a boyfriend, he's really more like just some guy who crashes on my couch. He spends more time talking to his ex-gf than with me but I'm really ok with it to be honest. Although, I did get an email from her that she "has a video I'd be interested in". (She's been known to record him in the past catching his saying some compromising shit.). But I digress...
And only like 2 friends left. I've pushed everyone else away.I have a few real life friends. I've had a girlfriend in the past. No girlfriend right now. Of course since I'm hoping to CBT, that isn't really a big issue for me. Of course sometimes I think if I had a supportive/caring gf, it might change my mind, but I don't know.A handful of friends. Not very close. Never had a GF. Don't really want one given what I'm intending (CTB).

Yeah, I mainly interact with my roommates, although I can't stand them sometimes. Aside from that I rarely talk to anyone, which is mostly my own fault since I tend to isolate myself a lot.

Friendless and gf-less. Not having friends sort of just happened and for once in my life I'm at peace with not having a GF. I'm old and made many poor decisions in the partner picking department. Dating is behind me now, pretending to be normal is so exhausting.
Lets say we find a partner, how does one go about explaining lack of friends? < this right here gives my crippling anxiety just thinking about it.

I'm around the same age. I've had friends in college (still do) but I've never had any relationships. I'd rather be dead than be friends or stuck in a relationship with someone I hate. It's extremely lonely but I'm glad I cut some of these people out of my life. At least I won't go to my grave feeling like an absolute hypocrite. Now if only I could befriend people who I cared for or cared about me...

No (maybe?), I was homeschooled and then I became a mental wreck when I became an adult. I'm not exactly Tom Cruise, either, although coincidentally while growing up my dad said I had an uncanny resemblance of him.

I dont have any friends to do not trust any enuf to let them get close to me. As for a girlfriend HA all thay end up doing is rip your heart out and leve you feeling like the world has ended. Never going through that again in the long run i am better off alone.Similar threads
