I have been watching a lot of videos and reading a lot of posts about people train hopping.

I read someone saw there are approximately 1,000 people ridding the rails each year and 600 deaths.

Everything I have come across has encouraged riding with someone with experience.

I see some people have walkie talkies, maps, a lot of research into where trains stop etc.

Just wondering if there is anyone on here with experience, and/or advice.

I'm thinking of train hopping as a last adventure on my way to ctb.

Ideally I'll find a remote place to ctb idk.

Horrid way to go.
I don't believe they mean they are going to hop into the way of a train, but that they are going to attempt to ride a freightcar, and either ctb in there or find a place to do it when the train stops, if that's what you meant by horrid way to go.
