So in my country currently theres student protests and I am scared my first year of college might go to waste and I wont be even able to finish it (they might even close the school). So I was thinking of moving to Slovenia to study (ofc take a year off to learn the language) printmaking. Idk, do you think I may be able to continue treatment there and study, does anyone have any experience as a 20 year old student in a completely different country all on your own?

I studied in Spain and France as an Erasmus student during my BA degree. It was really scary, of course, but an amazing experience still. I'd say if you get the opportunity, go for it!

I started living alone in a foreign country when I was 16. It was pretty hard for me, but it was just as hard when I was at home for the same reason: lack of money. I think you'll be fine, a change of environment can give you new perspectives.

Not enough money so not a different country but at 17 I had moved a few cities away.
Wasn't where you're planning to go though.
But my opinion is that Slovenia is actually a very decent choice.
I don't know and you don't have to tell me where you are from however if you already speak a language that has similar roots then the language learning would not only be doable but potentially interesting as well.
I'm not sure if I remember this right or wrong but I think that Ljubljana even has a few colleges where you can enroll in an Engilsh program even which would be an ok backup plan in case of a pinch if that would feel more natural to you, but for that I think you'd have to pay a bit of money extra.
Maybe even not, should probs depend on the college.
My giving of unreliable info aside, if you are planning to move around that area of the map, then Slovenia actually might even be your best pick.
Between them and the neighboring countries, Slovenia manages things pretty well.
Also, for the moving out part, it may feel scary at first however if you believe yourself to be capable of it, then go on and try!
For plenty of reasons, it could be a plenty good thing. Try to give it a shot.
