Talk about how I live. I have anxiety, so I worry about things that are extremely unlikely to happen, and it keeps my heart from finding peace. So, I set a 'date of death' that is not far from now. With this date, I think: 'Anyway, I'm about to die, so whether these bad things happen doesn't matter.' This calms me, and this peace allows me to live normally. I even think I can defeat anxiety, but whenever I take life seriously, anxiety makes me see reality clearly, and I become anxious again. With this anxiety and calm, as the 'date of death' approaches, I won't prepare for suicide. I'm too cowardly. So, I crossed the "death date," but after the "death date," I would become very, very depressed: I didn't want to move. I started anxious again (mostly depression). Slowly, I set another "death date"... Cycle

Are you on any meds? For me medications brought their own problems but they did help with anxiety. Really go check in with a proffesional. I don't want to undermine your issues but it might actually make it a whole lot easier

I haven't tried drugs, but I have this idea now.I've already seen a doctor, he only gave me a little medicine.

I used to take meds to cure my anxiety, but it only made it worse and also I got insomnia for a few months. So I won't recommend it or at least recommend to double and triple check what your doctor prescribes to you

Was it a doctor or an actual psychologist or smth like that? I got prescribed seratline and for anxiety it worked wonders. At least for a while

A doctor. I was prescribed paroxetine. I'll look into sertraline, thanks for the advice.

I also struggle with anxiety. Severe GAD. I've had really awful mental breakdowns because of it that have borderline tipped into delusion. It's honestly the worst and I find it difficult to live my life daily as well. Procrastination keeps me from participating in my hobbies.

I have tried many medications for this but none of them have been effective unfortunately. SSRI's have only ever given me side effects with no real improvement. Therapy may be worth looking into, as it has calmed me, while only temporary.

Do you have any plans at the moment? If you're willing to talk about it. I plan to try medication. If that doesn't work, I will CTB—I just can't take it anymore.

I am still currently receiving treatment for it, though I am not very hopeful that any medication I try will really do anything anymore, since I have gone through many failures. This chronic disorder is one of the reasons I seek suicide. It is an awful way to live if uncured. It seems you have not been experimenting too long with medication so far though, so don't lose hope. I am just an unfortunate case of medication being mostly ineffective. My advice to you would be to find a psychiatrist, as they will work with you to find medication(s) that work best for you. In my country we have a severe shortage of them, so I was only able to get one after going to the ER for a mental health crisis. Even though medication has not been too successful, with a psychiatrist, I was able to secure social assistance, since my condition has made it near impossible to work (at work I would frequently get very sick, vomit, and pass out). So that is a silver lining at least. I would also suggest therapy if you are able to get it.

Thanks for your advice. May the sadness that causes you pain eventually come to an end.
