Antidepressants and antipsychotics.

Hey everyone, a late little thread. I wanted to ask about that long before actually but lately I been more serious about that. I have some pills from my doc like antidepressants and antipsychotics and wanted to ask if I take many of them like all the pills that are in the "package" can I die from it? And will it be very painful?

think about.... what company would sell a medicine that if you took the whole packet would result in the customer's death? No company would take such a risk.

But there have to be something, like od still happens and I heard you could get "poisoned" by it.

50% you'd die, 50% chance you'd end up with life long liver problems (including liver failure). Most people don't like those odds (and Tylenol OD is notoriously unreliable), which is why it is considered a non method.

Edit: further digging found that the LD50 of Tylenol for men is estimated to be ~400mg/kg.

Both antidepressants and antipsychotics can theoretically work, but neither is advisable. Specially not antidepressants; even if it works, it isn't going to be peacefull. The most likely shot you have with antidepressants is to go by inducing a seratonin syndrom, which as I said earlier, is going to be far from peaceful.

A lot of antipsychotics though, tend to be also a CNS suppresent. Although they are considered a non-method here, if you take enough they can work. The problem is if they don't, the best case scenario is you will wake up in a hospital and have to go on with your life; the worst case scenario is you wake up in a hospital and have to go on with your life, while having permanent brain damage. The point is that we don't cosider it a risk worth taking here.
