Another hanging method?

I remember reading a post by someone here who was a Marine who described a suicide method that was taught to him. It was effectively hanging, but involved something like bean bags being placed on your neck and tieing a strap around your neck to forcibly cut off circulation to your brain. It's funny that I've never seen this method described elsewhere here, but seems ideal.

Wondering if anyone here has tried something similar.
