Annoyed by my government

I live in Germany. The vast majority of the German people are pro-assisted suicide. However the religious conservatives win every election and prevent a law in favor of assisted suicide. Even though the highest court ruled in favor of assisted suicide.
It is a shame how they think they could determine the death of responsible citizens. There are soon elections and I fear they will win again. I just wish going to a doctor and talking to a him, been taking seriously with my wish to die and not be called insane.
Then they could prescribe me N and all would be fine. Even if there is a law many people say mentally ill are not capable to do that decision. It is a fucking shame. Even in countries like Switzlerland/Belgium it is pretty hard if you are mentally ill. They treat us like children. I cannot go to another foreign country I don't have enough money. It is very cynical. The rich have better chances to die peacefully. They can afford N or assisted suicide and I shall rot in my misery. Though even rich people can be convicted.

I understand why you are annoyed. Euthanasia should be legal everywhere and it is frustrating when people deny the right to die. It is our lives so we should be the ones to make the decision of when to end it, other people have no right to decide this.

its an old post. The religious conservatives lost the election in Germany, though their political masters in EU will decide these matters.
