Wouldn't it be super cool to be allergic to something and only eat like peanut butter, or a shrimp to die quickly?

Lol, I guess we are not lucky 🤷🏽‍♀️

Those who are able to die quickly in such a way really are fortunate to me, I only envy those who no longer exist.

The problem with this is the type of death. It is a painful and unplesant experience that could take quite sometime to work.

Any ideas? On how to do that?

I actually think that almost anyone here is already suffering, so a little bit more doesn't sound that bad at least for me! You could die in minutes, because your throat closes and you can't breathe!

well i think its really just consuming something you are highly allergic to and hoping for the best. if you don't have any known allergies it becomes a lot harder

As someone who is deadly allergic to Ibuprofen (Next time I take it means certain death) it's harder to go through with it because it becomes a mental battle. At one point in time, I had a bottle filled with Ibuprofen, Aspirin, and Moltrin and no matter how ready I was, it became hard to go through with it cause I knew that once I take one let alone over 50 pills, there was no coming back. No amount of vomiting or calling 911 would save me. Only comfort I have is knowing that I have an easy ticket to CTB but it doesn't make it any easier.

My eldest has anaphylaxis and carries a medical kit (epipens, piriton, plan etc). I have had to inject him with the epipens in the past and have nearly lost him due to the anaphylaxis. His allergy is very serious and will lead to death without the use of the medical kit followed by medical care.

A word of caution - due to attending the clinic with my son since he was very young, I have met others with a similar condition. Death is not always guaranteed - it can result in brain injury etc as well.

Anaphylaxis is actually really horrible to go through. It's a really uncomfortable way to die. Unless if you like the idea of going through nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, headaches, itchiness, hives, chest pain, and confusion before you die, there really isn't anything to be jealous of. I remember when I accidently ate something that haf some cashews in it and while it didn't cause me to go into anaphylaxis (probably because it was only a small amount of the stuff), it did cause me to have a moderate allergic reaction and I suffered from most of the symptoms listed above and it was horrible.

Anaphylaxis also doesn't always come straight away. It can take around 20 minutes to 2 hours for anaphylaxis to set in and another 15 minutes for it to kill you. That's a very long time to spend in a lot of discomfort and pain. It also means that there is a very hugh chance of your SI kicking in too.

All those symptoms are pretty much the same symptoms you'll have with any method. Death isn't painless or easy and accessible.. if being allergic was an option, I would definitely go for it even if it's not reliable.. just like every method. I couldn't care less and have nothing to lose.

There are methods that are significantly more peaceful than anaphylaxis, or at least don't involve having to deal with any sort of pain or uncomfortability for the dame amount of time.

Those methods are expensive or not easily accessible. Even charcoal or gas cause headaches, vomitting or breathing issues… and also fail like many people have stated here. Setting up the above takes a lot of money and energy. You don't have to fight SI much simply eating nuts or peanut butter.

I get sad and angry for people who have died from peanut allergies…. It's not fair!!

Whatever happened to the member whose ctb method was anaphylactic shock? They mentioned they were allergic to paracetamol or some otc painkiller. One tablet or something had proven to be deadly once.

I have a very strong allergy to fish, swollen mumps, and maybe this method can work in my case, rather I should die of suffocation faster, but I think it is very painful,
I had seizures when I accidentally ate fish, but I'm not sure that death is guaranteed, you can harm your body and stay alive

Wow, I've gone into anaphylactic shock from shell fish. I cannot believe I hadn't considered that. Not sure I would want to as the time I accidentally got shrimp, it wasn't fun t the least. The first time was with injectable iodine and I was already in the hospital so was coded immediately. Dang, not sure how I feel about this.
