I guess for me, "normie" is the average Joe, like the people you pass on the street or see outside. They seem to carry on with their daily lives without a thought or care in the world about the meaning of life or if there's a purpose to our existence. They seem to be on autopilot aka NPC mode.
I think that might be the outward appearance that a lot of people project and I'm sure you've seen my posts where I do openly say most people are drones, which I'm assuming partly is by design and also partly by circumstance, but I don't know if that's really just a surface level interpretation to say that most people go about life without a concern in the world or thinking about why we're here. I think that's one of the reasons and again I stress one of the reasons that religion is so popular because it fills in a lot of those questions.This.
