So it's come to the day that im going to CTB. I will be leaving by CO poison. I have my tent sent up I've been here in the same place since yesterday and haven't seen a sole. So I'm very confident I won't get found until am CTB. I will start burning my briskets about 10pm tonight and once the flames etc have gone out I will take it in my tent with me. All going well I should take it in the tent approx 11/11:30 pm tonight.
I wanna thank everyone on this site who has taken time to talk to me . I really does mean a lot to me. These last few weeks have been hell, and you have all just made it that slightly bit easier. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I will keep you all updated up until the point I'm in the tent.

Not dead yet. I've had a lot of last minute practicalities (unrelated to the method) to sort out, so the charcoal is still in the chimney starter but I think the timer's up in about 10 minutes. Should be getting in with the charcoal in around an hour and a half.

Am I right in thinking I take the BBQ in once all the fire and smoke has finished? And piling them on each other doesn't make it smoke/fire a lot longer?

Yes I think so. After the "blowtorch" effect while using the chimney starter, the charcoal are most likely close to being ashy gray/white, there will be minimal flame and smoke from then on.
