what you think about alcohol poisoning as a means to die? google says six people die of it every day. It doesn't seem like too bad of a way to go. what do you guys think?
It's actually more likely that you'll get stuck by lightening than die of alcohol poisoning.
My statement only referred to the math. 6 a day is less than 2,400 a year which is less than the 4,000+ who get stuck by lightening.why? you can always ensure you take lots of it?

It's probably a lot like an OD. You probably can do it accidentally easier than on purpose. I don't know if Leaving Las Vegas is based in fact, but it's a book/movie about a guy who drinks himself to death. Nicholas Cage is very good in the film.
it is very much based in fact - I just checked. But the the book author blew his head off, which I think is a pretty common combination. Its a great movie about loving people for who they truly are. And very, very, sad.interesting, I think i'll check it out.
Leaving Las Vagas was a good movie. It wasn't clear how exactly Cage's character died though. I don't think it was alcohol poisoning since how can one have a BAC high enough for death but still be conscious and further be able to perform sexually? Or perhaps the author didn't tell the story exactly as how it happened in real life since a more realistic death by alcohol simply doesn't make for as compelling a scene as one where he drifts off to death during sex.
How about death by an alcohol enema? Hey, somebody has a post about the possibility of a Nembutal enema for the benefit of avoiding the risk of vomiting. I'm sure I have heard of death by an alcohol enema before (though I don't know if they were trying to CTB or if blasting booze up your ass is done just for fun).
One of life's great mysteries. I don't think it was the alcohol alone, it fucks with your body a lot. But yeah, the having sex and then dying part didn't add up. I just loved their relationship in the movie. It was like she was so in control until he cheated on her, then she got herself in a bad situation. Man, I've seen the movie 3 times and it still makes me sad. I love the way the city was shot, they didn't shut any streets down, so most outside scenes were done in one take. Plus it was filmed in 8mm, which gave it that gritty look. How about death by an alcohol enema? That's a fiction book written by an alcoholic and that was his suicide fantasy. In real life, he shot himselfIt's probably a lot like an OD. Yep, not geared of a successful try yet. They are either die due to vomiting or wake up with a bad hangover.I've had alcohol poisoning several times. It's really not fun and will cause lasting damage.
