Hello there, I couldn't find a thread about this so here i am.

What do you guys think of my CBT?

I do not have access to any fire arms / guns whatever, all i have is a .177 4,5mm caliber air gun, 8-10 joules

I was thinking of dieseling (basically putting petroleum in the skirt of the pellet, making it "stronger")

But i was thinking of shooting 2 pellets at the same time, and shooting my temple (contact shot too)

What you guys think?

Double the pellets would reduce velocity.
Some of these are powerful enough to match a .22 long.
A pellet has much less mass than a .22 bullet.
I forsee a nasty flesh would without a good explanation.

Even using a .22 would be foolhardy. A pellet rifle even more so.

Yeah, i believe PCP rifles can go up to 50 joules and more, but i sadly only have like 8j or 10j, not even close to .25 acp nor .22 short

I don't know enough about air guns to be able to give you a solid opinion. But this is what I can tell you -- my sons all played paintball. One of them was on the field one afternoon practicing with his buddies (he was friends with the field's owner) and a middle school kid and his dad showed up with brand new gear (kid was beyond excited) wanting to play. The did not realize that it was always closed on Thursdays.

Anyways, my kid (late teens, maybe 20) says yeah, ok let's let him have a swing. Another guy, not realizing dad hasn't a clue says the chrono is over there. Set your kid's gun and come on out.

Long story short, my kid took a paintball to the upper left side of his forehead at 900fps. For those of you who do not know, most fields back then limited you to 300fps. Anything over 320 is gonna start stinging and leaving welps.

A Glock 34 handgun's fps is somewhere around 1200fps IIRC (someone correct me if I am wrong, I don't want to go check and it has been a hot minute since I needed to know that. Now that I think a little more maybe it is 1230??).

My adult son had a major concussion and if he had been hit in the temple I suspect I would be speaking about him in the past tense now. So ... I said all that to say it IS possible. But you need to know a little more about the damage done to what areas of the body and how many fps you need to acquire of whatever you are shooting out of whatever weapon you are shooting.

I wouldn't risk it. Too many things can go wrong and you can wind up a vegetable.
