I strongly believe in an afterlife, but I don't believe in hell.
I actually think this life is a place of limbo and true freedom is when our souls reach the next place.

I am depressed, therefore not rational  You cannot prove that consciousness does or does not exist beyond death, only that rational thinking assumes that to be the case. Back to opinion again.

No one on the face of this planet can prove, one way or the other, what happens or does not happen when we die, therefore, its all a little pointless to speculate one way or the other. I just happened to relay a "experience" for want of a better term, that could be many things, all of which are outlined in the post. I am not biased, fairly or otherwise, in any of the instances mentioned.

And yes, your own "theory" is more than possible as well.

But is the next place really better or can it be worse? Who knows? I sincerely hope you are right, LonelyLight.

That then just comes down to what you or I choose [the operative word here] to believe.

I dread to think of it being worse :'( let's live in hope that it's something better anyways, if we are wrong, well, I'll be looking for a way to leave that place too, lol

Ok. Yes. But when it is actually happens? Believe then changes to reality. There is only one way to get the answer, and that is the point of no return.

Well it will either be an afterlife or nothing. I don't know about you, but the thought of nothing terrifies me.

Me too, actually. Logically I think this is not possible NOT TO BE. What if I was never born? Paradox.

In this discussion, "my theory" is based on
probability based on facts known to science.
Her probability is much more real
than other speculations based on "blind faith."
Everyone has the right to their own judgment and faith.

Probability again is nothing more, or less, than opinion. I have no qualms about anyone passing opinion, but only when it is acknowledged as such. Trying to pass off something that is only opinion as something factual is just pseudo intellectual bullshit in my book.

So blind faith or probability, neither prove jack. Glad you shared your opinions with us though, its another line of thought to the discussion.

All opinions about the future really never
they can be 100%, they can be less than 100%, say 99.9%.

A living organism is not a machine.
Referring to the concepts of quantum mechanics -
Is highly probable existence
in nonlocal space and nonlocal consciousness of someone or something what is a SUPERMULTIOBSERVER.

Exactly. This is why I like people who believe in science but check their arrogance at the door. Most of them say there is no proof of an afterlife, but that it doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist, it could simply mean we haven't gotten to the point of being able to prove it. Kind of like how other planets and galaxies still existed before we knew they did.

Totally agree. I also love when people try to detract from someone else's personal experience. Like, "I KNOW for a fact that your experience wasn't real". It reminds me of the people who used to try to cure homosexuals by insisting that it's just a confused choice. "I KNOW you don't actually feel that way".

I respect anyone's opinion too, but yeah that pompousness of passing it off as fact and trying to impose that belief on other people too is how you know someone has an agenda. Unfortunately humans have been doing this as long as we've been alive, either for personal or monetary gain.
