Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Hello all,

I have wanted to go away for a long time, but the one thing that keeps me held back is the fear of "What if you are punished on the other side for doing it?" What if you finally get off this awful place and instead of some peace it gets worse due to your actions?

One thing that scares the hell out of me and holds me back.....I know there is no way to know that answer either, which leaves me here, miserable, full of awful anxiety and panic attacks.

For example, you leave a family behind, does that get you punished and unable to enjoy afterlife (if there is one)? My biggest fear is that you do it, you show up for judgment and they quickly just say "You're going back, to do this again".

The other main issue is, on the other side, will those of us that left families have to sit and watch them possibly fall apart completely...I dont know how that can bring any peace.

Religions aren't real and you won't sit and watch anyone because your identity disappears when you die. All of your experiences, your memories, your personality is stored in your brain so you can guess what happens to those after you die. There's nothing to be afraid of.

So in that case, you arent you anymore......right? And all of this "life" is basically useless and pointless as it all goes away...all the feelings and emotions we have for people is all fleeting BS...none of it is forever, so why bother?

I dont believe in organized religion, but I was forced through 8 years of Catholic CCD, I cant get the idea of punishment out of my head as it was put there at a young impressionable age.

So if you are you anymore.......what are "you" when the lights go out? That fascinates me.

I think all of this life is pointless too but it is better to think about how you got a chance to live so might as well try to enjoy yourself. I am an ex muslim so I understand how you feel, I was also kinda brainwashed at a young age but everything about religions sound so absurd to me now.
If we exist again after death it will be instant anyway because we won't be aware of the time passing, if we don't exist after we still won't be aware. I think of it like going to sleep tbh, pretty peaceful.
