Hello my friends :)

I just moved back home from college, and I am struggling big time with trying to clean out my room and unpack things. Everything about it feels so overwhelming, even though it should be an easy task. I straight up don't have enough room to unpack unless I start filling up garbage bags/donating depending on the object in question. Just thinking about how much effort it'll take almost makes me physically nauseous, but I know I'll feel at least less out of place if I can do it. I'm really struggling with it though, it's so hard for me to do anything at all lately. In addition to that, I know there are some things I'm going to find that are going to trigger me big time. Does anyone have any advice at all? I don't know if this is a stupid thing to ask, but it just feels like such a huge obstacle even though I know it shouldn't.

Usually the best advice is to literally just force yourself to start doing a task and that can work amazingly for procrastination as stupid as it sounds. Easier said than done of course and it might be a good idea to try doing even the simplest tasks in even simpler parts, not getting something that "should be easy" done easily happens and it's okay to just say "i feel like i can't get this done, i'll try doing it later" or something similar.

Keep a box w a lid somewhere and put anything emotional in it before it can trigger you too hard, listening to fast paced music can help me do these kinda physical mindless things, activation energy might be low so maybe whatever motivates me first like dancing or skating, ummm and as far as space just take over the hallway outside ur room. That's urs now anyone complains they can help you unpack :3

Best of luck!!
