Does anyone else dislike the way our society loves to put certain people up on a pedestal and turn them into icons so they can hero worship them?
I find something really sick and pathetic about it tbh. And it very often creates people with giant egos too.
The idea of viewing another human being in that manner, makes me sick
… I genuinely don't understand the appeal of behaving that way. Grovelling at the feet of some famous person or being a big sycophant… etc.
I feel like an alien on this planet, when I see millions of people behaving in this manner.
