I plan to do FSH soon but I need something to reduce my SI. I'm underage so I can't buy alcohol and was wondering if sleep medicine would help to some extent. I was planning on taking one tonight and another tomorrow to see if I feel anything once I buy it. If it is something that helps, I would get everything I need to get done, done, and then take it so that I don't mess anything up due to being drowsy.

I just wanted to ask before I even buy anything since they're pretty expensive.

Those meds are probably most likely to just make you drowsy and more likely to (painfully, non-fatally) harm yourself if you attempt to CTB.

Also, definitely clarify here that you mean under 21. I worry people might take "underage" a bit too literally and you could get reported or something πŸ˜…

Oh yes I am 19 😭😭 also when you mean that it will painfully, non-fatally harm me if I attempt to CTB, what do you mean? will it not have an effect on my SI when I try to do FSH? will it have a worse effect than not having anything at all?

It likely won't affect SI. Anything over-the-counter or easily prescribed is unlikely to have that much of an affect. Even if it does, though, it could make you drowsy or dizzy, which would aid in bad decision-making and/or low motor skills. That leads to painful, failed attempts that cause permanent damage.
