  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Will 120,000 milligrams of acetaminophen kill me? And will 6,000 milligrams of benadryl kill me? I'd like a simple yes or no if thats possible

It could, certainly; however it is also likely to be protracted or fail. In any case, it won't be remotely peaceful.

I'm not sure any death is peaceful, there will always be anxiety, fear and a degree of physical discomfort.

Acetaminophen, forget that. You'll experience a very unpleasant death due to liver failure, granted you don't vomit it all up. The only use for tylenol should be what's it's designed to be used for: pain.

With benadryl, I wouldn't recommend it either as you don't know what will happen. In some cases, you'll be knocked out into a coma. In other cases, you'll be delirious and experiencing a series of D's of anticholinergic syndrome, which won't be fun. Granted it causes the former for you, I think 6 grams might be enough. The lethal dose is estimated to be 20-40mg/kg.
Keep in mind though, you'll be needing antiemetics.

If you're not too desperate, consider looking for better methods. There's information all around on methods that are less painful and more effective.

The time I used Benadryl to commit, I vomited it all up. I took 4 grams too. You'd definitely survive if you throw it up. Same with acetaminophen, you'd throw it up and you'd survive. It's not a good or a successful method but if it's all you have, make sure to use antiemetics first to make sure the chances of you throwing up and surviving is smaller.

I would not recommend Benadryl. At all. Ever.

Some people use it recreationally, it can cause hallucinations at certain dosages. I've been bored lately and decided to test that out on Sunday, actually. I took 600mg, more than enough for most people to hallucinate among other things. No hallucinations for me. Just 3 days [and counting] of absolute Hell. Discomfort doesn't even begin to describe it. Never again. Ever.
