I would wish to never have Aspergers in my life. Aspergers has fucked up countless (social and romantic) opportunities in my life as well as closed many doors that otherwise could have been opened. Sure I might lose some advantages that I may have such as narrow-interest, super focus on certain things, and even deep analytical skills, but that's a trade off I'd be willing to make because the world is built around NT (neuro-typicals) and having good social skills as well as reading body language cues goes a long way.

Basically what's the wish that could make you OK with life and not want to ctb? (OK I guess you could wish that you didn't want to ctb, but you know what I mean.)

To have my father have the time to see his dad before he died. So much healing needed to be done between them. My grandfather had another family my father knew about. And my poor grandmother was dying from brain cancer at 40 years old while my grandfather prioritised his time with this other family. It did horrible damage to my dad and his older brothers. He was so close. Ready to fly the next day. But it was too late. It was almost twenty years ago. And seeing my dad crying and howling even, haunts me to this day.
