Lost in a Dream

In this dream I was watching a series of movies about this family that lived on a very cursed, and severely haunted property. They were a big family too, very close with one another and overall good people, but for some reason the entity that haunted their property required a human sacrifice every now and then to appease it, to keep it calm so it wouldn't do anything to harm them.
If the entity didn't get it's sacrifice, it would destroy the inside of their house by throwing furniture, glass plates, and silverware around, it would attract wild animals from out in nature and cause them to stampede through the property outside of the house, and sometimes this entity could even control the local weather to the point where it would cause storms to happen that could damage the property and potentially even harm the family living in the house. I remember multiple instances in the first movie where the entity did all 3 of these things, and when it did finally get its sacrifice, it calmed down long enough for another movie to be made and the family had to repair the house.
I don't remember how often this entity required a sacrifice, but I know that someone from outside of the family had to be brought in and killed. The people living here preferred willing sacrifices from people who were willing to die for them, but weren't against the idea of killing someone against their will to appease the entity if they found themselves in a desperate situation. Why they couldn't just leave I don't remember, but they must have had a reason. Perhaps the entity followed them?
In this series of movies, there was a Part 1, a Part 2, and a Part 3. A lot of the details are vague from Parts 2 and 3, but I remember Part 1 very clearly. The whole time I watched these movies in my dream, I kept imagining myself as the willing sacrifice and wishing I could die for something good like that. If this were a real situation, I would willingly let these people put me down just to keep the entity from losing its shit. It didn't necessarily have to be a brutal or painful sacrifice either, it just required a death in general.
If this were a real situation, I could imagine myself having a beer one last time while hanging out with these people and getting to know them before letting them do their thing. I would also try to provide a steady stream of willing sacrifices if I could find them, but don't know exactly where I would look because it was just a dream after all.
I also wanted to add that during this series of movies, these people did have a mixture of both willing and unwilling sacrifices, but in the first movie, their sacrifice was willing and I remember how happy the people in this family were that someone was willing to die for them. It made me jealous of this person. I even imagined myself being in their shoes and being welcomed in with open arms. It was a pleasant thought.
