Venting 6 years

I realized it recently. I've been struggling with suicide for 6 years. 6 years. 6 years. Ever since I first considered death as an escape, an option, I've been struggling to stay alive, for all that time.

I told my friend this, and he asked me how it was going. I lied, I said there were ups and downs, but I was fine, making progress. It's just going downhill, I'm not getting better, I haven't been since I was a kid.
