  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

in a couple of weeks I plan to rent a room on the 46th floor. Is there a chance that I won't die right away?

Unless something breaks your fall like a balcony, you should be good to go. I hope you find peace whatever happens. Try not to land on a trampoline lol

46th floor is too high. I think it's almost 200m

The energy needed to break a human bone would be something like 400j.

At that height, if you're like 50kg you would hit the floor with almost 900kj. So it would definitely be a lethal fall, unless something breaks your fall, of course.

As for the time, it would be instant since you would suffer a tremendous cardiac arrest upon impact. I think

Edit: This is a very gruesome method and very dangerous too. If you're really determined to go with it (And if recovery isn't an option anymore), maybe make sure there is nothing like trees or a balcony beneath you. And please, let us pray you don't hit anyone.

You may also consider taking a lethal dose of medicine before you jump. That way even if you do survive your broken body won't be able to handle the overdose.
46th floor should do the trick though I reckon.
Also jump late at night when there's less likely to be anyone around. I read a story recently where a jumper crushed someone and both survived. The person they crushed was only 22 and was paralysed from the neck down.
That being said they jumped from like 6 stories.
I'm so, so, sorry you're thinking of doing this. I wish you could be happy and alive instead.

I think jumping is kinda sad since if you realize that you made a mistake, there is mo going back.

If death isn't instant I'm sure it wouldn't take long at all. Plus you'll be in shock so I doubt you'll feel much at all.
I often think of using this method due to the sheer rush of it. Instead I'll have to settle with death by train, which is much less snazzy but readily available where I am.
