If I'm really rich enough hopefully I can afford enough security to be able to dodge the chaos (though I realize that just puts a bigger target on me). The main reason I don't pick the latter is because I'm not resourceful enough to be able to successfully leech off a wealthy country with no home or documentation to speak of.

Becoming famously loved and then getting "canceled" is one of my greatest fears so I'd be much more okay with letting someone else take credit for my work especially since that would also relieve the pressure to repeat my success while I can be left alone with my money.
