I think you'll always have that "I'm bored and wtf is wrong with people" response at the core based on how you were raised/experiences up until now. Things may get a little worse if they progress, but with me I seemed to have "plateaued" when I was 24 (3yrs ago) but I really learned a lot about myself in that time and manage. Seemed as if the world came crashing down on top of me, so my advice would be to stick around.. I mean your plan is to end it all anyway possibly, so if the going got rough, there's that...a chance wouldn't hurt.

I cannot really judge, I'd be a hypocrite. If you are not using any cognitive distortions, and this is truly a rational decision, then nothing else must be said. Otherwise, it'd be best to listen to self-preservation in most circumstances. Do you think your mindset could change based off lifestyle changes, i.e an S.O, a hobby, a passion, etc? Could you spruce up your life? Boredom is sometimes caused by complacency, not saying it is for you, but have you just gotten used to your situation and not want to change? If it is actually a chronic, boredom not likely to be altered or bettered via lifestyle changes, medical procedures, etc, then it is a fair decision to end it. Make sure there's no stones left unturned prior to doing it, make sure you've pursued all options. If followed, it's your decision. Good luck.
