This is horrible, I am so sorry this was done to you; you absolutely DID NOT deserve this and it is absolutely NOT your fault!

I have been where you are - trying to navigate in the aftermath of that kind of violent act - it is excruciating and terrifying, and extremely lonely. Please, please report this as soon as possible so that the evidence isn't lost and there is a better chance of this guy being arrested. I couldn't, and it has only made the years since so much harder.

You are not bad, dirty, wrong, or tainted because of this. It is not your fault

I am so, so sorry! It's absolutely NOT your fault! You did NOTHING wrong! Don't be afraid to report him. He did it this time, he has probably done it before and will do it again if not to you, to someone else.
I have been where you are and at the time, I couldn't find the courage to report it, thought no one will believe me. I will always regret this decision as he went on to live his life while I am broken.
Please, go to the Police!
