That proves how important it would be to have easily accessible, peaceful and painless methods available without restrictions should people want to cease existence in this world. And it also proves how important it would be to be able to speak freely about true thoughts and eesires regarding suicide within our society. It's stiull only a minority who is gathering here but this minority isn't understood by anyone out there and this causes so much more pain and suffering for people like us who just want top cease existence to be free.

Now for the religious side, I don't know....... But....maybe they are concerned about.....Offerings?just kidding. I have no idea what their aim is....
But at some point they are right. If these methods were freely accessible then many would have already died by now. So I don't blame them too much. I'm neutral
Life is full of challenges so maybe they want to show us that we are able to overcome them instead of running away

Yeah, offerings would be about money. Maybe not having enough "soldiers" to fight on the side of god for when Revelation happens, since as far as Christianity is concerned, those that CTB don't get to enter the kingdom of heaven?

Isn't it about "money" in the end? In my native country people who are members of the catholic church pay a tax, in islam there is 2% zakat on your wealth every year (however you would have to pay that on your own and it's not taken by the govt.), with religious sects it's about money, I guess all members have to "pay" sth .... dunno about buddhism / hinduism in their respective countries but I guess in the end it's about "money" I have seen a report about a temple in india where people cut their long hair to be forgiven sins, and the temple sells the hair for real hair wigs .... it's all about money!! The one way or the other!

No in islam the 2% are only to be paid from the ones who are able to do so this euquals to a certain amount of the worth of gold if one has more liquid assets after 1 year. And this 2% are to be paid for the poor ones. not the rich ones. so at least this has a high social aspect there. But people are told if you dont pay it you will burn in hell ^^

To me it makes lots of sense why people would be looking for suicide method information as after all existence truly is something so dreadful where there is unlimited potential to suffer endlessly, to me it would always be preferable to take control over my inevitable fate as the thought of being tortured by old age disgusts me.

I see suicide as being self care as it's the way to escape from all suffering, I would always prefer to not exist as nobody can be harmed not existing, to me existing is completely unappealing.

Exactly. I now believe in spirituality..... Though one aspect of it has done me dirty, "the law of attraction ".....but.....whatever. I still believe in the majority of it. That heaven and hell are only states of mind. Heaven is a peaceful state of mind, and hell is a chaotic one
But.... If I make it to the other side, if this is a lesson I had to learn..... I'd repeat it after spending some time in afterlifeonly this time, being gentle with myself
