Maybe, but it's unlikely that it would be any more peaceful than N. Philip Nitschke, who is responsible for having brought SN to people's attention, recommends that anyone who has access to N chooses it instead of SN. In other words, if N isn't good enough for OP, neither will SN be.

That's true, but I don't think PN prescribed using DMSO with it. The first mention of DMSO as an add-on to SN that I saw was from Xerxes. In any case, it would at best be equal in peacefulness to N. The gold standard has always been N.

Wait, he shot someone who was asleep on the job? Personally l think the best method going is to get N, defect to the DPRK, be given an official role, drink the N whilst at work, fall asleep. That way, even if they find you, rather than send you to a psych ward hellhole for a week or so, they'll instead blitz you with anti-aircraft weaponry to ensure a successful outcome, which I'm sure you'll all agree is the sign of a TRULY civilised society!!!!!

I just can't have any margin here, where even any degree of pain is acceptable. It has to be fast. Like squashing a bug. Otherwise you are likely to feel something longer than you should.
In what way is suicide by hanging for example painless? People here seem to believe that being unconscious = no pain/suffering. Typically yes..but if you're starved of oxygen and your brain dies with your body going into shock...all bets are off.
Even when the person is unconscious, the body.fights to stay alive by all means as seen from many of the hanging videos out there. If the body can't, and this instant cutting off of air is seen as humane, you're basically subjected to shock and suffocation.
I'd take eradicating the brain and "all function" instantly versus a brain deprived of oxygen and going into shock/death.
Nobody on this planet can tell you how the latter feels in the full process as they've all died. However, we can all agree that if the brain is gone instantly then there's no more pain left over. That leaves out no margins.

The OP has discounted the use of N which is the *gold standard* in euthanasia. If there was something better it would be in use for humans and animals.
I've been reading a number of relative's accounts who watched their loved ones die at Dignitas. None mentioned unbearable pain or suffering of their relative. None asked for a refund.
Let's be real - with the cost of Death @ Dignitas, if it wasn't peaceful and so on we would know about it. People would be in uproar. Jeez, people are all over Twit-ter these days if a eatery fails to bring them enough ketchup with their food.
The only alternative is to pay a trained assassin to ensure a lethal bullet. No point trying yourself. The risk of the combination of inexperience and nervous shaky hands is likely to end in a shocking mess.

Hopefully that report will have been dismissed. The OP has asked for a "100% quick and painless" method and is throwing toys out of the pram when the answer he/she demands is not immediately forthcoming. It's a bit weird to demand a certain quality of reply when the only honest answer to the question is "there isn't one", and this fails to satisfy the OP. If anyone is having trouble "dealing" with the thread content it apears to be the OP.

OP surely you understand you're looking for a unicorn. Squashing a bug, seriously? Unless you have the lead role in a Wiley E Coyote cartoon and can somehow arrange for a grand piano to be dropped on you from a great height you're not going to find this mythical, painless death. I'm kind of leaning towards this being a troll thread because this level of earnestness regarding something so obviously unattainable is suspect imo.
Actually, after doing some research, I have discovered that your piano method may not be be as peaceful and reliable as you're claiming it is. Proof.

As for the chronic pain, I won't go into details.
I'm trapped between suffering and wanting to live my life without disability, and knowing that dying is painful as fuck.
Choosing a painless option that may not be conventional, isn't unreasonable. Trying to exhaust my options and ask a community dedicated to suicide isn't unreasonable either.
If you see this as an "annoyance" just ignore my thread. You don't have to make wise remarks.

Preferring a painless method over the opposite is more than reasonable, nobody disagrees on that. But when your goal is to escape the suffering that your physical condition is causing you, it is strange that you're not willing to endure the minor discomfort that N may cause, even when it is unlikely that it'll be unpleasant at all (except for the taste). By pursuing outlandish methods such as the laser rifle you linked to above, you are delaying your relief from the pain.
You posted a video on phasers. I posted a video of a laser gun "toy".
Of course nobody is going to kill themselves with that. I'll get to the point since it's obviously lost here with bias...
