I would say Stan's guide makes it more comfortable, not necessarily more successful. Even meclizine works as an AE if one is not able to obtain meto or domp. Everyone has access to paracetamol and antacids. Benzos and propranolol are more of a luxury, though aren't impossible to obtain. And a second glass after vomiting pretty much guarantees death. It's just about overcoming SI

A lot of this may be true but based on reader's posts for when they detail attempts, after vomiting I have not seen a post yet where someone drinks a second glass. Clearing all the vomoit out in order to drink a second glass is almost impossible, and if you swallow some of the vomit you will probably vomit again right away. The second glass thing is something most people don't follow through on du eto this, based on posts here. They may be cases where people drink a second glass but I haven't seen a post like this yet.

Well buddy, those who drank their second or third glass are dead now. So they can't really, you know, post about it on this website. There's a thread to a link to the reports of those who died from SN, and a lot of them needed more than one glass. It's not really reasonable to make your conclusions based on people's posts on SS only, cuz a lot of people don't always make a good bye thread. Just saying.

I know it's not complete information but it is telling that for the people who posted goodbye threads in the past couple of months, at least for the ones I've seen, they have all given up once they throw up. I'm sure some people may have gotten themselves to drink a second glass after this, but it looks like this is usually not the case. So being as careful as possible to follow the protocol and to avoid throwing up gives a person their best chance.
