(I'm kind of agnostic actually but since it's yes/no this is my current idea of it)

I think god doesn't "exist" in the sense that they aren't corporeal. But whoever created this place must have evil in them, maybe not exclusively evil, but some amount of evil for sure. God, in my mind, is like a movie director that creates some of us to suffer for the plot. So doesn't exist in-universe and is not above evil.
