the molar that's been causing me major pain has been taken out an hour ago.

According to the dentist I have another molar that needs to be extracted also.
although it isn't causing me pain at this time.

bad brushing over the years, lots of filling required on multiple teeth lol

and the four wisdom teeth will probably need to go too in the long run.

gonna need dental implant to fill the gap to replace extracted tooth/teeth...

on top of that some of my teeth are no longer straight so gonna need braces again as an adult lmao
It's astonishing amount of teeth problem I have.
I will think about whether to proceed with suicide or find some way to live.
both seem unpleasant if I'm being honest.
But the tooth is out,
That'll save me some trouble I guess.

I'm glad that you got that taken care of. It seemed like you were suffering a lot.
Hopefully you can come up with a solution on how to finance the other operations. I can sympathize with how painful teeth/jaw problems are.

I have naturally decreasing gum (which hurt a lot for years whenever I was eating something cold/acidic) on my lower jaw and had to get some "extra" gum transplanted there (from the roof of my mouth). It was an expensive procedure and I'd even have to do it again since it started to decrease again.
I'm happy to ctb and not have to ask my parents to pay for it. I guess ctbing is one way to get around medical procedures, haha.

Well if I don't die, im becoming ocd too,

Receding gum line I definitely have a problem on the lower teeth.
Roots starting to feel somewhat sensitive in recent months,
on appearance the gum line is not all the way down but definitely looking kinda too far down.

Gum graft, that sounds fun :meh::aw:

Yeah my lower incisive was receding as hell, it was horrible
Now that's better but it's not perfectly recovered

Maybe it sounds completely ridiculous but teeth ocds make me feel suicidal

Because you eat with teeth, you seduce with teeth, you smile with teeth...

You fulfil all your basic needs with teeth. I still have normal teeth in appearance
because I care a lot about them but they contributed to fucking my brain tbh.

Maybe I'll make a thread about that someday but it makes me feel ridiculous

Good to hear you got that molar taken care of. Dental problems are miserable, and greatly effect quality of life. They're worth taking care of regardless if we want to live or dis. Sending hugs.

Has the pain decreased substantially?

Stories like this make me conscious to always take care of my teeth.

Well, sometimes it's not even linked with taking care of your teeth, sometimes it's just shitty genetics.

My lower tooth receded because of shitty thin gums and orthodontia.

Moreover, my lower jaw stopped growing too soon, causing a lot of problems.

As for molars, it's due to vigorous teeth brushing when I was a teenager. Not anymore.

Jaw & teeth problems contribute a lot to my suicidality.

I have a perfect hygiene, electric toothbrush, appropriate brushing, not too vigorous, not too long, I wait a little bit after eating.. ocd right.

Yeah I totally understand.
I think I ordered my sn the same day I was experiencing extreme molar pain lmao
Although I have other major problems in life.

I think if I'm to stay alive, I'll have no choice but to have the dentist drilling into my jawbone and install dental implant to hold fake tooth to replace my current missing tooth.

no one wants to remove a tooth unless it can't be saved.

gum graft certainly comes the primary treatment
before any extraction is ever considered in extreme cases.

Gum recession is serious problem.
It stresses me out too.

I almost feel no pain regarding that extracted molar other than some minor sore sensation since it's the same day post-surgery.

I have receding gum issue with my lower front teeth,
It's a bit sensitive and slightly sore but that's an issue that requires attention too. Just not as intense as the extracted.

I have so many teeth problem.
Have not seen a dentist since I was 16, I'm 26 now
and only treated teeth alignment when I was young,
and only cleaned my teeth once professionally lol.

Teeth are big problem if they are looked after.
In my case, I never thought it would be this bad, plain ignorance.

but regular dentist checkup would certainly help prevent any issue from developing further. It's just better to not have a problem in the first place than treat it and feel sorry lol

Yeah true.
I think genetics can have an impact on it.

I think I might have some less than perfect genes regarding my jawbone and gum receding problem.

Sometimes shit just happens for no reason.
Plain inconvenience honestly.
Gotta be tip-toe monitoring ones health on every possible components.
Especially if discomfort/early symptoms arise.

Anyway nobody's going to love a depressed man with depression and BDD. Just going to ctb.
Why bother. I'd like to punch in the face all the people I hear say "beauty means nothing".

Just fuck off. Anally. You hypocritical cunts.

Yeah I totally understand.
