This poem covers the unexpected effect of... ye olde furnace. It is *not* a reliable mode of failure (CO is not always fatal) and CO alarms generally exist in more than the main building.
Ye old furnace is so great,
From 50F to sixty-eight.
When cold room came, you warmth is nice,
Your extra feature free of price:
There was a gas from your old flue
If unmaintained, you may spew
It makes us sleep so calm and nice
Except a headache will suffice
That sleep is strong, don't get me wrong
Most our trouble, may be gone,
All 4 who seek the other realm,
Shall be launched into it, by the helm.
PS: it is unlikely (without prior organisation) that 4 people who wish non-existence, will all be in the same space without others who don't seek the next realm that day.
PS 2: I wrote this poem after watching the Steve Wilkos show, after he helped someone escape a harmful relationship... without sabotaged*/unmaintained furnaces.
* some furnaces have protection mechanisms which I won't disclose, to avoid someone recreating the poem and causing collateral damage.
