She feels that stylistic freedom has to be the answer or at least an answer 'cause she's tried everything else or at least it feels like she has. So she starts writing away from her notes and her old notions about the rules of grammar and punctuation well not so much grammar more punctuation specifically and she starts writing some stories and they seem fine in fact quite impressive at times but not big enough.
She needs more characters and she needs them to come together to form a story in fact story is usually the big thing missing in her stories. Characters she can kind of write but only a few pages worth then she gets bored of them or more probably because she has no real story she doesn't know what to do with them.
So she thinks write what you know that's what they say and what she knows is that life is hard and painful and uncertain and there seems to be more negative than positive but it seems like it shouldn't be this way in fact it often feels like she's very close to it not being this way and it just surely seems like a matter of time.
And not even more positive than negative that's crazy this is life after all but more positive than there is because it just seems like every day slips by with not enough positives and if it all adds up like on some kind of cosmic balance sheet it just seems like she is massively in debt and the debt just keeps piling up.
Over time she finds the debt quite burdensome and it seems hard to explain why she feels sad to people when they ask because they do ask because she looks sad, she emits sadness, she is sadness, to the world.
She can only say well it just seems like there's never enough positive on any given day so when you add up all the days together it feels like really nowhere near quite enough positive to sustain some kind of reasonably happy existence.
The debt needs paying back but she can't work on it because she is too sad and so the new days roll around and the negatives outweigh the positives even more and so the overall negatives of her life story become even more of an overwhelming burden.
So she writes stories where the characters have burdens that have built up over long timescales but then miraculously unburden themselves deus ex machina style because it would have to be miraculous because there is so much burden and writing these stories makes her feel a little better because she realises by doing so she is finally writing actual stories.
