• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So much of the basics we need to survive and thrive are kept out of reach for so many people. Can't get a house, education, well paying job, etc. Healthcare isn't as advanced as it could be if we valued people over profit. That's if you can even get access to healthcare. You ever wonder if you're really treatment resistant, or if finding the right treatment wasn't profitable enough? How many of us would leave this forum and be fine if not for the late stage capitalist nightmare? I guess it doesn't really matter to think about "what ifs" but it plagues my mind quite a bit. So infuriating that ctb seems the most realistic escape from it.

A lot of us would be okay if it wasn't for capitalism. Less stress on people, easier access to treatment, etc. But I also believe it wouldn't solve too much, as capitalism is only a small portion of life's hardship.
