I live in supported housing and the person with the room next to me was evicted. Because the room is a disabled room I thought it would be vacant for months. Turns out they have already found someone for it and they have moved in today.
This is very disappointing for me as I wanted to do sn here. I could go to a hotel but I am thinking that it would still be a good idea to do it in supported housing as I could tell the on duty staff member that I have the flu so they don't check on me and so they tell the woman next to me that I have the flu if she hears me and tells the staff member. I'm worried of being reported in a hotel with no premise as to why I would be vomiting. I fear they would come check on me whereas if I tell the staff member here that I have the flu I'll be left alone.

What do you think?

Seems like you have a better chance of getting discovered in the housing unit then a hotel but not sure.

Do you have AirBnB where your from? Perhaps renting a house to yourself would be a better idea as you'd have the entire place to yourself.

I dont think anyone in a hotel would mind what you do in your room. actually people go to hotels to do a bunch of other much louder things, because they cant do it at home, if you know what I mean. heard of a ctb case in a hotel once that was really well prepared . the person had even thought about not shocking the hotel staff. so he calculated when death would come and had ordered the hearse for the next day to pick him up. also he did in the bathroom and had put a paper on the door wich said do not enter call cops and hearse, just in case hotel staff would enter for some reason. so in this case he could do what he needed to, nobody else but hearse and police got involved.

I can see that you are in a bit of a pickle :(.

I would advise first to get everything else (whichever your options are by SN or N). And then to overcome this barrier.

Are you able to say that you are visiting a friend for the night and go to a hotel. I really think hotel is the preference in your case. Only you will know best how the supported housing works. Ie, how often does the staff check? Before making decisions. Some things we are unable to advise based on circumstances of location but hotel seems to be best.

Thanks for the replies. Would a cheap hotel be good enough? Gonna look into renting a house for a week...although feel bad for whoever finds me.

again, you can make sure that only people that are trained for this will find you. as explained in my upper post. police and hearse are prepared and used to it

That should be more than enough. Dosing information that has been shown to be successful can be found in Stans guide:
