Help Would lidocaine cream work for masking the taste of SN?

The cream is much easier to get than the spray where I live

I really don't think lidocaine cream is going to taste good, or work. I've heard some people planned on using throat numbing spray, but I honestly don't think it'll do much either. I personally plan to dump a water flavoring packet into the SN mixture in hopes that the high amount of sugar in the small amount of water will make the salt/chemical taste more bearable. Regardless it's going to taste gross, I don't think there's much one can do to change that

no, i had to use a spray when i got feeding tubes down my nose, and anything numbing tastes vile, i think it will just make it worse. even the flavored spray they used at the hospital it tastes like cough medicine but worse.

i dont have any good recs that ik would work, but one theory is that maybe those miracle berry tablets (that turn sour/bitter things sweet) could maybe help? i dont think it works on salty flavors which i heard is what SN mainly tastes like, but if there is any bitter taste to it as well then that may make it slightly more palatable

edit: the cream will taste the same if not worse than the spray, because its the same chemical
