I recently made the mistake of looking up the % likelihood of dying within a year of people in my age bracket (young adult). Looks like I'm stuck in this bodymind prison for a while longer!!!How would you wake up it you died?

I wish for the same, all I personally hope for is to fall into an eternal, dreamless sleep and never suffer ever again, non-existence is all I personally see as desirable and is all I hope for, I'm always so tired of being burdened with this existence and it just feels so dreadful to me how I cannot just choose to never wake again.

That's such a bizarre oxymoron. You can't wake up dead. I assume you meant that you wanted to die during your sleep? If so, same here. Dying during my sleep is definitely the best thing that could happen to me

I recall in my teen years a girl I worked with, who would have been about 18/19 yrs died in her sleep from, I believe, a brain aneurism. She was in perfect health as far as anyone knew, held down two jobs, just went to sleep one night and never woke up.
So, who knows, you could get lucky.

yeah, probably better that this shitty life lolI wish I could go to sleep and never wake up. Every morning I am pissed that I'm alive. Literally cursing out loud.

yeah, i know. every fkn time. every fkn day. with all the drugs and alcool and speeding and shit, i never ended up dead in some way. it's like the universe wants me to be miserable as long as possibleToo relatable. Every few days or so I just fantasize drifting to sleep and never waking up as I laid on my bed.Last edited:

Yeah, that would be ideal for me, too. Would save me the trouble of doing it myself, and the anxiety that leads up to it. Plus, I'd get to die doing what I love, and who doesn't want that?

Well, idk about waking up dead, I don't like to wake up. I hate it- it's one thing I dread the most. But it would be great to just "not wake up". I hope for that every time I go to sleep… "please don't let me wake up".
