When you're articulate, people take for granted that you'll be able to express how you feel, so when you don't say anything, it must be because you've nothing to say. Actually, it's because I just don't have the words. I'm all out of words.
But even if I did, what is the point? Truly, what is the point? I don't want to hear that talking helps, that it shares the burden, that it lessens the pain. None of that is true. There is no help. The burden is still unbearable, the pain insurmountable. It's just that someone now knows. So what? I don't need an audience.
