Yeah, but the guy was there to die. If that were me, and you backed out at the last second and then told the cops about me I'd want to fucking kill you.

I agree. From pro-lifers view, her act seems to be a crime, from pro-sui view rescuing him seems so. But, the opinion of the person who ctb matters..May be he don't want to be rescued, none wants to end up like a veggie ultimately

Her backing out and then the same day looking for another partner sounds like she enjoyed watching the person die.

man dont be so naive. If she truly regretting it she would have hung herself instead of looking for a partner.

That's easier said than done. I regret backing out of suspension all the times that I did. Am I dead yet? No. If that were me and I suddenly backed out at the last second I'd be like, "FUCK! What now?" And I would have found another partner...

I dont care. Im planning to cbt. I have drapes that will cover the scene of my body and alert whoever finds to call the emergency services so they have no trauma. I am suffering so much yet I have the thought to make sure others dont, so stop with the excuses.

she seems like a fraud and an enabler to me
Its good to know you are in 'good mental state' to plan it to avoid such trauma for others.. she isn't my friend or something btw to back her. Anyhow, you too seem to have got a plan.. hope you find it

It was actually him that posted on the suicide forum inviting people to join him, she responded to that, then he picked her up and drove them to the location. Just thought I would mention that being the police & media have put out a very one sided story.

She was suicidal, survival instinct kicked in at the last minute imo.
That's why partners are sketchy! Partners turn out to be serial killers or they wanna ditch you at the last minute.

In the UK mostly they don't care. But it would have been the humane thing to do, to at least try and help.
Same in the US. In my state, you can be found guilty of manslaughter if you assist a suicide. Mental illness is not only stigmatized, it's criminalized.

Yeah, as much as I love the idea of having a suicide partner, I wouldn't trust it....

I think some methods are more suitable for suicide pacts. Like carbon-monoxide probably would work well. But I imagine if you are not a healthy man there are also other concerns...

can you please explain the appeal of partners?
Pool resources, share and troubleshoot methods, not be alone in your final minutes are a few things that come to mind

yeah but youre looking at all the unicorn, fairy, everything goes to plan stuff. All the negatives shit on what you just said, no offense, Its not how shit works the vast majority of times. Dont gamble on your death, we've gamble enough on our lives already.

Id also like to reiterate that Im strongly against getting involved in another persons death.
