Isn't it the point of night night to not be able to continue breathing?
The point is to block the blood flow into the brain and therefore cause lack of oxygen. You will be unconscious within a few seconds. This is the point to do it pretty much painless.

There is a thread I think there is a video of someone who completed ctb by the night night method. The person did it whilst laying in bed but it seemed like there is a lot technicality required to complete ctb successfully.

So like its just like normal passing out
