The American Medical Association gave him an open letter and told him that tariffs would limit access to drugs and he just ignored them.

I can confirm that there are now drug shortages. Really common meds that used to be able to be obtained in surplus is now on back order or low stock, since most drugs are sourced from India and China. Sometimes the shelf becomes empty for the "top 200 drugs" section and it's never been that way before. The tariffs are highly disruptive.

Hey may or may not. During his previous term in late 2019 he was close to implementing a price transparency rule for hospitals and medical insurers so you dont get ripped off by the insurance companies and with hidden fees but Biden threw it out once he took office.
