  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Absolutely. That's how the system is designed. We are overpopulated as it is. The cream always rises to the top. The elites want to have everything while the poor suffer and die.

I don't think so, at least not significantly. People will just suffer more. Now, if it evolves into a bigger economic issue, then maybe; once you start seeing people lose their work, housing, and so on - those are more the conditions for people deciding to quit the game, I believe.

Self Righteous Suicide

Yes of course, the lower and middle income classes have to carry the burden cost from the ambition of higher class, they will raise taxes for you and cut their own tax in secrecy. Decent living becomes luxury and luxurious life can't never get enough while the rest of the world have to suffer the consequences. Most people is barely living, just surviving is hard enough.

Still related with income vs cost of living: "Every 1% increase of unemployment rate, the suicide rate raise 0.8%".

To empirically estimate the effect of unemployment on suicide rates, a panel dataset covering all the 38 OECD countries during the period 2000–2019 is analysed with two different models, one two-way fixed effects model and one random effects model with time fixed effects. Regardless of which model that is selected, the results are similar and suggest a positive relationship between unemployment and suicide rates.

An increase in the unemployment rate by one percentage point is associated with an annual increase in the total suicide rates by 0.8 people per 1,000,000 inhabitants.

The study has been confirmed again and again.

Of course! I hope that the SS server is ready for a huge deluge of new members in the not-too-distant future.

There's always the potential for the world and life circumstances to improve, but I wouldn't be surprised if the world will get progressively worse, at a fast pace, every year for the coming 10 to 15 years, with war, famine, energy shortages, job losses, a significant decrease in the standard of living, and all the secondary effects of those elements.

I think it may push those with suicidal tendencies already, to act upon them, In general mental health I think will decline, but I don't think it will push suicide rates up for the standard person. Life is going to get tougher, but its about common sense, and working through it, people are going to fight back soon, and when it does that's going to be a mess

Of course. Our suicide rates have only risen as it is, which is part of the big reason so many politicians and even police are pushing to prevent it… of course they only do that because they want to force us to live and be system slaves, as they never actually come up with real
Solutions for this type of thing. I know quite a few people in my area who have killed themselves over this very thing, so i know those numbers will continue to rise
