If you are worried about your computer contents you should wipe it beforehand. Or at the very least use the likes of VeraCrypt on your files and folders.
I have considered throwing my laptop and phone in the river if I decide to go that way. I'm definitly going to delete anything that would risk anyone else - e.g. anything related to purchasing substances...

Very likely. Won't be anything to find or much to see in my room, aside from some sentimental objects. Computer will stay, but HD will be trashed except for some back ups I want to be kept on a USB.

Most likely, police will want to rule out foul play in your death and they might need things like your phone and laptop for that. It sucks but its just how it is unfortunately.
