Hi guys, I've got my exit planned for July 16th, and I've also made a list of all of the supplies I'll need. However: I'm not sure how my regulator will connect with my cylinder and adapter. I know that the regulator is supposed to connect to the brass adapter, but I don't understand how to connect it, don't understand what part of the regulator would be attached to the adapter. I will provide links to the products in question, so that you guys can either tell me how they should all be connected, or recommend replacement items.

Hi. I am also planning to use this method to CTB. There's no place in my area to fill N tanks, so I have to buy one from a local welding supply. They only have 60 ft.Âł cylinders. I figured I'll have enough to test it. I found a different regulator and I'm hoping that it's right. I was going to attach either the housing that came with it or some plastic nebulizer tubing taped inside an exit bag. I'm hoping to CTB on July 4, but I'm in somewhat of a panic finding a location. I tried to CTB with an OD in January in a hotel and I don't want to go to a hotel again. I don't want to do it at home or in a vehicle. I'm thinking the best place will be camping and being in a tent. I'm just trying to find a private place to do that. I'll add a link to the regulator that I bought that hopefully will connect right to a CA 580. In my research, it said it's compatible with an N and we will show LPM, but now that I'm looking at it, I'm not quite sure. I thought I had that piece figured out, but I'm not quite sure now. Bring on the panic.

Best wishes to you.

yes you have a rotameter which can adjust flow from 0-25 Lpm.
This is exactly what you need, not only pressure regulator, but a rotameter (flowmeter).

Just make sure the thread is exact so you can join the devices together, if not - you can always get an adapter.

Thank you so much for your guidance. I found a welding video that recommended a device like this, and it was saying that it shows LPM. From looking at this, there's no LPM lines. Do those lines equate to LPM? It looks like it shows SCFH. I'm no engineer, and I even had to look that term up, too. Do you know how I would read LPM on that device?

The gauge shows the pressure in the tank. The black dial on the end is where you set LPM.

I see where the black dial is on the oxygen is on the OP's gauge, but not on the gauge that I've purchased. Would the OP's set up work? I think he had questioned that as well.

I'm sure there's many ways to set it up, but I tried to find the simplest way with a CA 580 connection with the welding video. The welder said he was able to avoid a regulator with this because he really just needed to see the LPM. I originally ordered a traditional regulator and was going to add a flow meter when I found this option. To be honest, I couldn't figure out how to attach the flow meter. Now I'm a bit panicked that my system won't work and I won't be able to CTB on the core has planned because I would have to order the equipment and it wouldn't be here in time. I'm hoping to make this rig work.
I'm sorry that should read. I'm trying to CTB on July 4. I'm not sure if I can find the OP's equipment locally. It's very doubtful.

I think I found what I was looking for on another thread. I am going to look at making sure my connections will fit. Thank you so much. I wish you peace on your journey.

I'm planning on using a different regulator. This one here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D97PDCNN?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

I know that the regulator needs to connect to an adapter. On this new regulator: I can clearly see where the adapter goes. I couldn't see it clearly on the 1st regulator I posted.

I wasn't able to CTB last night. My flow meter did not fit my nitrogen tank. Everything on Amazon said that it would. I set up my camping site and started to prepare everything and realized nothing was fitting. I made five trips back-and-forth to the hardware store and couldn't find the right supplies. My heart is broken. Going to attempt to CTB again on Monday if I can get the proper part locally. I feel like I'm running out of cover stories.
I can't go back to that campground so I have to find a discreet way to do it in the backyard during the day while my spouse is working. He works from home so it's going to be tricky. I just don't have the energy to set up another campsite… And I don't have a cover story for it. I was supposed to be camping for Fourth of July weekend. I came home early when things didn't work. Everyone in my life knows I hate camping.
Maybe someone on here can help me figure out what part I need and what I'm missing.
