Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

im scared of suffering in the afterlife. i spent almost every moment in the waking world reliving abandonment, abuse, grief, and just cruelty. will i get to rest when i leave? or will it just get worse. have i not suffered enough. will i finally grow wings

I certainly hope we don't suffer after we're dead too. Not that it's any good as a reasoned argument against it but- I simply don't see the point of punishing someone forever. Punishment is either used as a deterrent, a teaching tool to not commit the behaviour again or, I suppose- as a form of retribution for the sake of the victims on this earth. Those reasons make sense- to me. But to just chuck someone into hell forever for some minor misdemeanor- why? Doesn't God believe a person can reform and grow?
Personally, I'm hoping for no God and no afterlife. That would seem the safest option.
Hello. This may come off as arguing but it's not. Just, this has never convinced me much. I mean I don't remember the first year of my life, but it still happened. I'm not saying there's proof one way or the other because no one can know that. But what if there was something before birth and it's just not possible to remember it? I'm not sure which is better either.

I've been thinking of that as well , It feels like hell to live for me. It's just one day overlapping another , the same . But what if after CTB this pain goes on forever like you're trapped in the pain endlessly. That's my biggest fear of S

Remember: a 6,000 year old earth and Noah's Flood 4,300 years ago are part of the hell package.
Catholic anthropology and Aristotelian-Thomist notions of the soul make sense to me. My problem seems to be a bad soul from sin, i.e. freely chosen irrational behavior. So I worry about hell. But in the end religious stories are full of nonsense about imaginary beings, even if some good philosophy is buried in there. Also, saying that the soul concept feels right is different from being able to rationally justify it. It might not be good philosophy after all.
