Will i face legal consequences if i throw up 1 kg of SN to the toilet?

Unrelated, but I've always wanted to go to Sicily. I'm not sure but I heard long ago that my father had some roots from there.. Beautiful place!
On topic, yes, I would assume it is illegal in Sicily because I am aware that chemical disposal laws are very strict in the EU. A quick search has yielded me the same information as well.
Even if it wasn't illegal, I wouldn't suggest it. As you probably know, NaNO2 (the chemical formula for SN) is an extremely strong Oxidizing Agent. You probably would've learned this in Chem 30 in high school or whatever equivalent that would be for you, but that is extremely dangerous to dispose of in your toilet. It's dangerous to the environment, as well as to the plumbing workers, it'll make their job a whole lot harder and may even be dangerous for them if it produces toxic fumes or oxidizes combustible materials in your pipes, it's a real hazard.

We could throw a party at your place, I'd gladly take it (also European). 1kg doesn't seem safe if it reacts badly with metals, so just throw some in each trash bag over some weeks.
