Why slip knot over hangman noose?

All the guides say a slip knot, why this over hangman's noose? That not seems better.

I'm planning to CTB soon. I am working towards it while knowing my time is running out. My method won't work in winter… I need a tree.

All the voices tell me it's my purpose to kill myself. God wants me to do this, and I'm on borrowed time the longer I procrastinate this death.

I believe the "Hangman's Knot" is intended to break the spine in the cervical area. This is why the drop from the trap is proportioned to the weight of the subject. If this goes wrong then the consequences may well be protracted, painfull, lengthy and if the attempt is unsuccessfull life changing injuries may result.
Whilst, ideally, the slip knot will compress the common carotid arteries on each side of the neck, cutting off the blood supply to the brain.

i believe at least @Evelyn Lane's guide suggests a noose knot over a hangman's knot, not a slip knot, but if the slip knot is constricting like the noose knot it should still work

The voices are lying. It's not your purpose, and God doesn't want you to do this regardless of what religion you follow.

Ctb is a decision that many here get to after exhausting all other options, and after careful consideration with a rational mind.

It sounds to me like you might be experiencing a crisis involving hallucinations. If that's the case, please seek treatment for it before making any permanent decisions like ctb.

Some form of slip knot.
The hangman's knot was designed for long drop executions. Unless you know where to get a gallows, use a slip knot with no drop.

The hangman's knot or hangman's noose (also known as a collar during Elizabethan times) is a well-known knot most often associated with its use in hanging. For a hanging, the knot of the rope is typically placed under or just behind the left ear. As the blow when the condemned drops to the end of the rope is supposed to break the neck (for modern "long-drop" hangings), this knot can add additional striking force against the head and neck. The knot is non-jamming but tends to resist attempts to loosen it.
