I am planning on a drink or two first, but know it can relax the body to the point of survival, but I have since researched medication that will help beingdopey to the point drowning will be the final result, but you would barely know it
this for me is the idea exit
I'm not sure if your adrenaline and body systems will naturally fight that.
My friend jumped 50ft had taken lots of sleepers etc before she jumped and was conscious throughout

I don't see it discussed a great amount. The focus is on SN, N, hanging, etc.

I'll admit I haven't delved deeply into the specifics of this method yet but it seems like a bloody brilliant method from all outward appearances. Is there something I don't know? Is it lack of access to good jumping spots? The possibility of traumatising the person who finds your splattered remains?

It's an attractive method to me because as long as you jump from a sufficiently tall location, it's safe to say that there will be virtually NO doubt in your mind that you're going to die. No fiddly tying, no cost, no drinking nasty solutions, no turning back, no chance of revival, list goes on. It's a dream in so many ways. Or is it?
Errrrr...cos it's bloody scary?

There was an article on jumpers from some American bridge. Apparently when they hit the water they usually flail around trying not to drown for a bit but they fail because they've destroyed internal organs by the impact

I appreciate that jumping off a building on the hard land would be quicker but still some of us just don't have the balls/ladyballs

I found these 2012 US stats on lostallhope.com. It does give an indication of popularity of various methods. Jumping or fall is ranked fourth.

I know I've asked this before in another thread, but is a 15-story parking structure enough for an instantaneous ctb? I've heard of successful attempts from less, but 15 stories still doesn't hit the 100m threshold. Assuming a concrete landing and a jump by falling backwards, would this be a high-percentage method?

This came from outdoorfact.com:

"From a purely statistical viewpoint, people have about 50% chance of surviving a free fall from approximately 14.5 meters (equal to 4 stories). The mortality rate increases to 90% at 25.5 meters (equal to 7 stories) which often make it the average height of fatal fall."

For a 15-story structure, I would estimate it to be around 99%.

This is something I could never do as I'm scared to death ( pardon the pun ) of heights. Even standing on a chair is to much for me.

I'm made for living on the ground and that's where I'll stay.
