Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Anyone heard of pole pig transformers being used in reverse? Apparently like 33kv is achievable.

Not to encourage anyone, but I'm reminded of fractal wood burning. It was circulating for a while as a cool art trick, but it was so extremely dangerous that multiple people accidentally died. It involved using the transformer in a microwave to produce a higher voltage than normally provided by household electricity. For wood burning, you soak the wood in a solution, hook it up to the transformer, and turn the power on to create a "lightning strike / vein" effect.

Wouldn't recommend it though, even if it's "effective" it looks excruciatingly painful.
