Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Longing for death = not enjoying life.

"Don't kill yourself, don't you care about how your loved ones would feel?" Why are you making me feel guilty? I'm already miserable as is.

"Killing yourself because you're suffering would only cause others to suffer" I don't even know how to respond to this. I really really with my whole being, hate people who say these things. Be considerate.
I have always bought into the "ultimate selfish act" characterization of suicide. But, damn... You gave me a reason to think otherwise. Your explanation is sound.

Nobody has to live in my head, to waste away in my miserable world, to experience what I do... Who are they to tell me I have to live for anyone else's place of mind?

Mainly because it makes people uncomfortable. Humans have been conditioned to fear death, rather than to see it as a natural part of the cycle of life. This is, in part, due to religion and politics. Western societies, in particular, have a very loose understanding... if not an all out misunderstanding.. of death. This society loves to find things to wallow and complain about. Suicide is low-hanging fruit.

For me just seems like coping. And some inability for true empathy.

I dont think is some twisted or maquiavelic form of thinking, but just the common simplistic approach to any "not my own" problem. I mean, people cannot show empathy for SO many ridiculously cruel situations taking place in the world, that are even televised like Gaza.

It's just a common human defect. That is: most people cant truly empathize with situations they have not experienced themselves, so they make shit up.

People prioritize their own happiness every day of their lives but the moment my choices make them uncomfortable then I'm the "selfish one." They know that they're wrong they just want to guilt trip you into staying alive.
