Why does it seem like hardly anyone chooses Amitriptyline to CTB?

From reading the PPH, it appears to be 8/10 for reliability. Used with a Benzo, meto, morphine, phenobarb, alcohol and Ama's sedating properties, it seems to be quite peaceful - you just have a heart attack after a few hours whilst in a coma.

Is it just because of availability, or something else?

I'm nearing 10 grams that I've been slowly stockpiling, so I'm seriously considering using this method - probably in a big chain cheapo hotel with the 'do not disturb' sign left on the door for a few days, until I'm supposed to check out.

I've been wondering the same. It seems to be successful and relatively peaceful, and it's also easier to prep for than SN or other things. I was feeling comfortable with this method but it is never discussed, which makes me nervous.

It makes me nervous too, with the brain damage, although I'm not aware of the full consequences of a fail. Any info on this? I always seem to revert back to OD + Full-hang, just to makes sure it doesn't fail.

I haven't come across many reports of brain damage or other serious consequences specific to this method, so this is quite worrisome.. though I guess I should have known better since I actually started to feel better/calmer once I started stocking up. The main complications I've read about are people not using enough or being discovered too soon.

It's really annoying. SN seems so salty and pukey. I'll probably just full-hang + an OD of a mixture of shit, just to make sure it works. I wouldn't want to end up so spazzed I can't try anything else and now have to live in misery.

Do you happen to know/remember where you've read this? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that these are rather crushing developments for me. I thought I finally had a safety net..

in the PPH there are multiple mixture methods that include AMATRIP that are said to speed up the process, so you go quicker - they include opitaes and phenobarb - I have a source of phenobarb, which I am awaiting the arrival of, and opiates are pretty easy to get - where in the world are you approximately?

They still prescribe amitriptyline for nerve damage in the UK, though I ended up not taking it since the side effects were more unbearable than the pain (which is saying a lot). I wonder what a ctb with amitriptyline looks like, I might just be an outlier who doesn't tolerate it well.

because the amount of phenobarb required to CTB on it's own is quite large, and I've only ordered a small amount just to test the water, see if customs bite - if all goes well, I could buy more, but it would still require a much larger amount, and pheno is apparently very slow for CTB also, on its own

I've tried pheno before for sleep, and it was a horrible experience - I went to sleep and woke up about 15 times, each time having the most vivid nightmarish dream, and I felt so bad the next day, I swore I'd never touch it every again

But with Amatrip, alcohol, morphine and benzos, apparently it can cause death more quickly

I tried it out with taking 100x 10mg Redomex tablets. I took it with fruity alcohol and I got convulsions and my mother woke up from the noise. She saw blood coming out of my mouth and had to resuscitate while my sister called the EMS. When the EMS arrived they lifted me out of the window and into the ambulance, here I flatlined again and they brought me back once more. I was in a coma for 3 days and woke up feeling very mad and I was hallucinating wildly. I saw bugs crawling up my hospital gawn, didn't recognise my mother, saw a tornado through the window ect. If it weren't for my mother I probably would have been on the bus already. It's reliable but just make sure you're alone if you do try this method. It's because of this attempt that I cannot get it over my heart to poison myself at home again (I am 25yo).

You were lucky that they found you quickly and not later, otherwise you would have multiple organ failure and still be alive. I suppose it takes longer to kill than it is desired.
Amitriptyline gives you a physiological shock — decreases blood flow through organs — which causes organs failure.
SN also causes blood poisoning that results in a physiological shock but it looks like it kills faster. That is just my opinion.
